This unit is introduced and explained in the power point presentation. The lotus diagram helps the students organize their research and the rubric is the assessment tool that will be used. This power point will be accessible from class website after the assignment has been given to the class. This research meets language arts goals as well as helping students with computer skills while incorporating science.
This will be a fun interactive way for the students to meet several goals of the Standard Course of Study at one time.
